• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That was an interesting story. I don't think that reporter had a clue about what to do.
I guess someone needs to come up with a fix on this project. "Driverless Car ....Waymo..??"
Definitely check out the weather.

Phoenix is one of the cities having driverless cars. They look really strange having fast rotating GPS units all around the cars. Last night the local news reporting showed shots of the Waymo vehicle stalled on a flooded street with water up to the door sills. It was reported that Waymo ceased operations at some point yesterday. I guess navigating flooded streets was not included in their programming.

Today in the desert it started out dry and partly sunny. The high only got to 82 degrees. Then late this afternoon, mother nature made her presence known. The temperature dropped to 76 and thunderstorms began rolling through the valley again. There are flash flood and severe thunderstorm warnings extending from central Arizona all the way to the Utah border. Both the phone and TV are blowing up with severe weather warnings. The sky all around me is very dark, constant flashing, and NOISY. Tomorrow is supposed to be a dry day. Stay safe..... Jim

Sunny Sunday here in the desert. At 10:30AM - 80 degrees, mostly sunny, slight breeze, humidity at 56%. The temperatures for today are 86/68. There is still some storm activity in the far Northern Arizona area but nothing here in the Valley. This week, we will have a gradual warming and eventually get to near 100 by Friday. Fortunately, the overnight lows are expected to stay in the 60s. Stay safe..... Jim

My goodness, our local TV News showed parts of Arizona having flooding issues. I guess most people are safe as per the TV News. Remember flood water is not your friend.

Monday morning weather news from my local area of Indiana. The temperatures in Indiana are above normal for this time of the year. Generally the numbers are in mid 70s.
Currently clear sky and 59°F.

High today of 88°F with sunshine.
Low at 55°F. No rain in our forecast here today.

Just heard some terrible news for the Indiana Farmers. China has decided they will NOT purchase any Corn or Beans from the USA.
Just wanted you to know.
Also here in Indiana, the Farmers had a great crop.

I hope you are doing well.
Till Next Time my Spyder Forum Friends. (y)

Life is good 👍

The monsoon storms experienced over the weekend have left the desert. Currently: 93 degrees, a (very) few cumulus clouds in the distance, humidity at 25%, and a 3 MPH breeze. The overnight low is forecast to be 68. The weekly Friday car shows that I participate in begin this week for another season. During the height of the season, there are usually 300+ vehicles of all types. And it's all free for participants and lookers. There's an ice cream truck, a couple food trucks, and 50s-60s music. Good way to spend a couple hours on Friday afternoons. Stay safe..... Jim
