• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, I was planning on riding today, Monday, February 23rd... and woke up to snow on the ground.
I did check the weather report yesterday, and it said it would be cold, but I don't remember anything about snow!
They're now saying the high today will be 31 F, a bit cold to ride, and with the snow it's a no go!

Tomorrow the forecast is for a high of 46 F, then two days of rain. :(

Friday is supposed to have a high of 60 F, and 69 F on Saturday!
So I'll do stuff around the house today, go for a short ride tomorrow, and plan on doing some longer rides on Friday and Saturday!

I hope your weather is behaving itself so you can ride!

We got some ruff weather here too. Nothing with snow, but not the best for riding. The 2 days we had last week were great, but work had me locked down. Hopefully this weekend will be better. I think they are calling for mid to low 60's. For February and March, I will take it.

I got a friend who trailered his bike down for Daytona bike week. Probably not too many bikini sightings yet. Hopefully the event will not be a total bust. I had a trip planned to ride down from IL but luckily it fell through. Maybe make it down to Panama City for their event in April.

I'll ride when it's at least 58 degrees. Illinois has not been kind to riding.
Our Southern Illinois weather here has been rather wonky as well. Last week we did a have a 70's degree day. Was beautiful, the perfect riding day... then the cold set back in. And now, back to our irregularly scheduled winter sporadic temps.

Mikey, didn't Maine get any of the storm that dumped 40" of the white stuff that N.S. got ??
Not as much as you would think! I was in Fort Kent when that happened and only got 4-5 in, my daughter lives in Standish, she got 10-12!! It's been a crazy year snow wise, the snow's been hanging to the coast, coming from the South instead of coming down from the North! The house we rent for the winter usually gets hammered for the most part, but the last three years have been dryer than normal!!

Another weather update!

Today is Wednesday, February 25th, and the forecast still calls for rain...but not until 6pm tonight!

It's 7:15am, so time for some breakfast, a quick shower, and then gear up and ride!
Woo Hoo!!!

Gotta have some snow to plow first. I already jinxed the snowfall in our area by buying a new snowblower. If I bought that plow for the Spyder, that would be the end of snow in this area for the next 10 years.

Our area is WAY behind on precipitation for the season and I'm to blame. My apologizes to the local farmers.
