• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Re-installed the primary muffler (cat) - the noise @ I/state speeds was not for me!

About 6 years ago I tried diferent combos with Lamonster's delete pipe, and found his beer can opener baffle on the front, and a Big City Thunder cone baffle to the rear, a sound I like and enough back pressure for the torque.

I've kept both of the RT's I've had stock. They sound nice enough I think. There's enough intake noise and the exhaust note sounds OK when you rev it out.

I think my neighbors and their young kids appreciate the thing as it is. It's certainly nice and quiet on the freeway and I can hear my wife through the comms better without it being louder.

I like riding underneath the radar and attracting less attention.

Whenever Lamonster released his version of the bypass pipe, we got one and installed it. At that time, no baffle was included or even discussed.
Been a straight thru bypass pipe with oem muffler for probably 10 years and no regrets.

Years ago, I did cut open a stock muffler to see what was inside. Was not expecting a non baffle chambered muffler, but that is what they designed and built.
Do you have pictures on the cut open muffler?
