Your Weather News @ July 2026 Edition

Early Wednesday morning in Indiana. Currently cloudy sky at 68°F and the humidity is 85%. Not sure about a Spyder Ryde Time today. Yesterday Ryde Time was just to wet for me.

I did get the grass all cut. The wife said, "I love the fresh look of the Yard." She talked about making an 'Apple Pie'.
That's a big favorite of mine.

High of 87°F with some clouds.
Low at 69°F with some humidity 😫
Just got to love it.
Wife's flowers are coming in very fast.
Always look forward to seeing the beautiful flowers.

A little side note: My two tomato plants are looking terrible. This summer's heat and the lack of rain is taking it's toll. I planted the tomatoes thinking mother nature would be helpful. So now it's my job to check on the tomatoes. I will need to water as needed. Also I have to check for bugs and birds. I am Not going to build any greenhouse.

Anyway enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able. Till Next Time my Spyder Forum Friends. (y)

I did summer tours from Arizona to Washington and several Western States in between for 3 years on my Spyder. Before and after that, I did the same on both 2 and 3 wheel Goldwings. This is my 12th year of Extended touring from Arizona at more than 2 months each time. Before that, I was limited to 10 day to 2 week periods due to work constraints and I did those for the previous 40 years. This is my 3rd year touring in my old blue pony. I needed to make the switch due to physical and safety concerns. I'll be in Anacortes until the end of August. Then I'll mooch off friends and relatives for a couple weeks while slowly working my way back to the desert. The weather here couldn't be more pleasant. Right now, it's sunny and 65 degrees. There's a 10 MPH sea breeze and humidity is 68%. The overnight low will be 52 degrees and there is no rain in the forecast. The humidity is a non-issue, except that it tends to produce morning low clouds and fog at times. Had lunch with an old Yacht Club friend today. It's good to touch base with people who are important in life. Just looked at the home weather report. 116°+ in the forecast for the Arid-Zone-A desert. I'm in my happy place and enjoying it to the max. Stay safe..... Jim

Too hot in UT today.

Felt bad for the wildfire firefighters working in 104°F heat with their packs and Nomex gear, 6% humidity. How do they do it?

The Babylon Fire is now over 100,000 acres and about 11% contained. Largest current fire in the nation.

Getting too close to Monticello and Blanding for comfort. Certain of their outlying areas are now on SET level for potential evacuation.

Today should be about the same as yesterday. Meaning high humidity and
hot temperatures are in store. Humidity is 92% right now. Stay Hydrated and be Healthy.

Currently cloudy sky at 68°F. I am going to take it easy today. The heat is
on! Lucky for me the AC is working well. The grass pollen is very high today. Makes my eyes very itchy.

Today's high should be 87°F. Mostly cloudy sky and a high UV day.
Low of 69°F. Possible chance of rain showers this evening.

Well the Utah wildfires are still in full swing and doing a lot of damage.
Sending Prayers to all of the great fire professionals.

Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able.

Sending prayers to all those affected, especially those brave firefighters. Those areas mentioned are on my preferred route when transiting Utah. When I stayed in Panguitch the fire had just started and the smoke was thick and burned my eyes. That was 2 weeks ago. Sad......

Fast Friday here in Indiana. Currently cloudy sky at 72°F. Well folks those Fire issues are really getting worse.
TV News showed just a little update and then went to gasoline prices. But that's the way it goes.

I hope to get a Ryde Time today.
Yes, you need a ryde too! So go ahead and do it. Remember to Stay Hydrated and watch out for the cagers.
Cellphones are a very big distraction.

High today at 85°F with some sunshine.🌞
Low of 69 °F and a small chance of getting some rain showers this afternoon. We could use some more rain here.

Have a Great Day Today. 👍
Till Next Time my Friend.

Fidalgo Island, WA is mostly sunny with a few clouds floating around. Currently 64 degrees and headed for a high of 68 today. Humidity is 75% and there is a 9 MPH breeze. Starting Sunday, we will warm slightly into the low 70s with overnight lows in the mid-50s with no rain in the forecast. Looks like that pattern will hold for the next 10 days. Perfect!!!! My summer rental is located about 200 yards from the sea so it stays nice and cool. The temperatures can be 10 or more degrees higher just a mile or so inland. Stay safe..... Jim

Flew from Utah to Pennsylvania today.

It’s nasty humid and muggy here.

Might not be so bad though, as the weather lady said our part of the Salt Lake Valley is going to get to 107F on Sunday.

Should be back to 100F on Monday when we return.

Oh joy.

Beautiful summer day here in Anacortes, WA. Currently 68 degrees, humidity at 59%, breeze light and variable, no clouds. The high today will be 71 and the overnight low will be 54 degrees. Put the top down on the old blue pony this morning and cruised over the Deception Pass bridge to Whidbey Island. Went to the beach at Deception Pass State Park, the busiest state park in Washington. Lots of families frolicking on the beach. Many fishing boats coming and going through Deception Pass. The park looks out on the Strait of Juan de Fuca which is a body of water about 15 miles wide separating the Olympic Peninsula (Washington) from Vancouver Island (Canada). That body of water is open and exposed to the Pacific Ocean. Both the U.S and Canadian sides of the strait are mountainous creating a perfect funnel for Pacific storms to blow down the strait. During (frequent) stormy weather, it's not unusual to have 10-15 foot waves. Makes for a challenging crossing for coastal cruisers. Today the Strait was flat as a mill pond. Stay safe..... Jim

Yesterday's sunshine was great 👍.
Hot but not over bearing. Today's numbers are in the 90s. I will try and enjoy an early Spyder Ryde Time.

Currently mostly clear sky at 66°F. The humidity is terrible at 89%. You can feel the moisture in the air. That's the way it goes here in Indiana.

High of 93°F with lots of sunshine.
Low at 69°F and sunny 🌞.
Have a Happy Day and Ryde if you're able. Stay Healthy and Enjoy your Life.

All is well with me. I hope you are having a great summer.
Till Next Time my Friend. (y)

Here in Ontario today is 37°C (99°F).
Humidex 45°C (113°F)
Used to go riding in the mornings and be home by noon.
But it has been too hot and muggy to even do that. :(
