• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else had an Oil Leakage Issue like this? - UPDATE

This type of fix baffles the heck out of me; they are going to have a shop take the motor out of your machine, break it down, and put some JB weld type of stuff on it, both sides, instead of just putting a new motor in the bike?! If I was running BRP, there would be a short block coming your...

Windscreen rattle - is this an easy fix?

I changed the arm on my 2012 and found that the screws on those side arms would loosen up and back out after time and I would tighten them every now and then. I had such a time getting them out because of the size of the screws and that darn yellow goop they use that I didn't replace them with...

Amsoil package change for their 10W40 Metric Motorcycle Oil

I just checked my Amsoil book, and they still have the Metric in 5W40, and four other oils in different grades that are classified as motorcycle oils in different grades also. They are all wet clutch classified!

Just When You Think You've Seen It All...

If the rotor has any groves or irregularities on the surface, it may rip your new pads up a bit. The new pads are not very thick to start with, so if you're not iron to iron, and it's stopping ok, then I would just keep going on the old pads. You're changing the whole works, so no harm done if...

We all make that mistake. ;)

    Can anyone ID these rims?

It would be a toss-up whether it would make more sense to change the rims or the tires. General makes a tire that fits that rim, and it works great!

No First Gear after unloading from the trailer - what do I check and how do I fix it?

If you hooked it as bad as you say, I would say there is something bent down there somewhere! It's too bad you didn't have another bike to compare it to and see if the angle of the dangle is the same! Make sure the actuator arm is not bent in any way, maybe have someone get on the bike and work...

Is anyone else Running out of fuel like this?

If I were you, now you know that number, I would stop or look for gas when it's close to 80! I would use the milage off my trip set to start with, then after you know your MPG, use the trip meter to safely set a set milage to gas from. Like Andy said, you should not bring your gas down to the...

Had a dead battery that threw a check engine light & Code U0155!! How do I clear the light? Do I need BUDS?

It's like 40 miles from the house, and I want to get it resolved as soon as possible so it can go on the market and find a new owner! ;)

2014 ST with error code P0340 - anyone help me figure out where the camshaft position sensor is?

It's on the right side of the bike, down behind the oil filter housing. It's held on with ether a quick release clip or a 10mm bolt, it should be facing the cam shaft down in there. You need to take down the filter housing, it's behind it!

Had a dead battery that threw a check engine light & Code U0155!! How do I clear the light? Do I need BUDS?

The bike is starting and running fine now, it's just got the light in your face! Yes, it has some stuff that has been hacked into the system that I may have to unplug!! I called a shop down State got an appointment to hook it up! My friend was the type of person who always hooked up to a tender...

Had a dead battery that threw a check engine light & Code U0155!! How do I clear the light? Do I need BUDS?

Ok, took it out for a 10-mile loop, it seemed to run fine, got back to the house, looked for codes and got a U0155, but it's still got the check engine light on! I got the keys out of it and I'm going to let it rest for an hour and see if that will help?! Anyone got anything else to try?

Had a dead battery that threw a check engine light & Code U0155!! How do I clear the light? Do I need BUDS?

Ok, like I said above, friend had a dead battery that threw a check engine light, then changed out the battery with a brand new fully charged battery, and was hoping the light would go out, but it didn't! The bike sat all night with no battery because I had the new battery on the bench charging...

Too hot to ride, or maybe I’m just getting old

It's just not fun for me or the bride if it's steaming hot out!! When the humidity is high it's the car and AC for us! ;) It's one thing if you're on a trip and run into it and HAVE to run it, but to want to ride in it, no thank you!!

Having a blast, but have you noticed these Spyders Take an Effort To Ride?!

They are an improvement for sure, but they are still going to wear out in the center like the old style in the rear! When mine are gone it's back to the car tire for me!
