• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know of something similar to a tank bag for a 15 F3?

I called them and sent a photo. We compared measurements before I ordered and took a chance as it looked like a correct fit. BRP does not manufacture the fuel door and neither does Triumph.

Android Auto (wireless) for 2024 and up Spyders now available and working

Yes. They were the same price when I posted, but are the same internally so long as you are buying from Binize, not old stock from another seller. Older boxes could be updated, but why mess with it? Actually, checking just now, they are the same price if you use the coupon shown for the black...

Anyone know of something similar to a tank bag for a 15 F3?

The tank ring. It just snaps on. There is a pull to release when you need to fill up.

Anyone know of something similar to a tank bag for a 15 F3?

I have been using the SW-Motech EVO tank bag on my F3S for years. Moved it to my new bike too. Tank ring is same as for a Triumph.

    Stopping a Spyder

Bike had a front and a rear caliper both leaking so we were looking at a bunch of brake components anyway and the OEM BRP parts were no longer available.

    Stopping a Spyder

It is possible to fit the newer Brembo brakes to the older V-twin bikes. I have done it. The older brake parts are becoming unavailable. Rear is pretty straightforward just needing the hanger and new caliper and rotor. Front, you will need to change the hub and need new 15" wheels. As well...

I bet they still put 2 wheels on the wrong end.

Can I get GPS on my 2024 S2S 10.25" screen; or GPS Software/Hardware, Apples to Oranges, or maybe not...

USB in the dash is a data connection, not intended for phone charging. It's actually low enough power that it will not charge many newer phones. If you need a charging port, I suggest adding one. Charging was never the OEM port's intended use. If you connect Bluetooth first and then plug in the...

    1) Phone and headset should be on and ready to accept bluetooth handshake when your start the bike. Upon startup is the only time the instrument cluster will scan for bluetooth devices. Will not scan for phone if headset is not found first. 2) Using bluetooth for music does not require a USB...

What connection headaches are you having, perhaps others here can help. I have found the startup sequence critical but once connected it seems to work just fine. Using the 'correct' startup sequence it connects every time I start the bike like clockwork. Should not be this critical but it is for...

What bugs are you seeing with CarPlay? I will admit I just started using the function a few weeks ago when I finally got my hands on an Android Auto adaptor that works with the Spyder but I have not really seen that many problems with it. Well, 2 issues so far, it only attempts handshaking...

How do I control the FM Radio on the 2024 RTL?

Interesting, now I need to go out in the garage and play with my FM radio. Did not know BRP added digital HD radio to the Spyders. A significant upgrade from the very poor FM radio tuners in the 23 and prior bikes. Up until now, I have not even tried the FM radio.

And as I previously posted, the information about BRP GO no longer being part of the Spyder systems is also on the BRP Web site. I HAVE spoken with BRP on this subject. Call BRP yourself and ask. BRP GO is gone (good riddance) from the Spyder line and replaced with Apple CarPlay. Replaced...

Are there any issues with this front tire size - 165/60R15?

We install Yokohama 175/55R15 on Spyders and they fit with all 4 fender types on oem wheels.

Android Auto (wireless) for 2024 and up Spyders now available and working

Thanks, think I understand better. The routes run in a new navigation app on the phone, not Google Maps. Makes sense. I need to give it a try. I will sign up for a trial account and play with it a bit.

Android Auto (wireless) for 2024 and up Spyders now available and working

So once you create the route, does it send it to Google Maps on your phone? IE how do you use the route while on the bike? Sorry for so many questions but the web site really gives very little information on how it works or what it can do. Just selling subscriptions.

Android Auto (wireless) for 2024 and up Spyders now available and working

No, drag n drop creates shaping point. Adding waypoints does not work either. First, you are limited to 10 including start and end points. next it creates a new route between each 2 points so it does not navigate through to the actual destination, just to the first waypoint then you have to...

Android Auto (wireless) for 2024 and up Spyders now available and working

I am giving My Route Online a try but cannot figure out how to manipulate the route to use the roads I want. Does not seem to allow drag n drop or other editing of the route. I am trying to recreate a known route we recently used and see how it transfers to Google Maps in android.

Android Auto (wireless) for 2024 and up Spyders now available and working

Create a route on google maps on the desktop. Once it has the route plotted, edit the roads used to your liking. Now send the route to your phone. The transferred route only brings the destinations across, not the route so your edits and the roads you selected are gone. Transferring to a...
