• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Still looking for a couple of good helmets (open to suggestions)

All of the above were decisions made from great suggestions and posts from this site.

Man, and we haven't even got the Spyder yet. Like Dave and Teddy say I think it is an addiction!

Come on next Friday!!:rolleyes::ohyea:

OH, ITS AN ADDICTION ALRIGHT & therez no 12 step program for it

:banghead: This may just well prove to be the l o n g e s t week of your lyfe:banghead:
The only help for the addiction is to ryde, but once you stop, your thoughts turn to the next ryde. If thats NOT addiction, I don't know what is:dontknow: and don't forget the main symptom of addiction, your face will hurt from smiling:D so much:2thumbs: GOOD TIMEZ:yes::clap:

The best helmet is the one that'll fit and you'll wear. They are like shoes. You'll just have to try on a bunch to find the right one.

I just went through the same wait. I had paid for our spider, but had to wait for it to be delivered, because I was too new to the game to even ride it a block. It was a pretty sweet time anticipating, but it sure is nice to have our RT home. I'm yet to take it very far, but that'll happen soon enough.

I just put on the Bumpskid and belt guard last night, along with the catalytic shield and radiator block off plate. It only took a couple of runs in the neighborhood to realize my right foot was going to cook off and we're no where near hot yet in Phoenix. I highly recommend those add-ons too.

Emburn. Great place. Think i will frequent there :). Its a drive but for great service and attitude well worth it.

Josh
We bought ours at Contant in Mirabel, Quebec for the same reasons, plus they gave us 1300$ in credits for accessories or service. What model did you get?

Was going in the door for an RT limited but once i test drove the manual trans we went with the RT-S with the manual. Add all the electronic do dads.

We are getting the RT Limited, as my wife will drive to, and has never drove any kind of bike. She finds it more convenient. We got the lava bronze with a black seat. Well I hope you enjoy your ride as much as we know we will.

Tic! Toc!

Fridays coming! Fridays coming! :spyder2: Am I excited? Just the most I have been since I was a kid!:ohyea:We will be at the dealer as soon a we can Friday morning, and it is supposed to be a nice week-end, so we should get some miles in.

Finally!

Well we finally pick up the lava bronze RT limited today:spyder2:it was a beautiful day, so we spent the afternoon touring around the Laurentians . It was great to finally get it and now the riding will start.

Awesome I know how you feel aside from the beautiful Laurentians :(. I do plan on the ryde this summer.

Josh

Did you get yours on Thursday Josh? Thanks all for the congrats! Defentiley try a ryde in the Laurentians as there is some beautiful scenerary!

1st full day!

Well spent our first full day with the new RT limited. We put 200 miles on it touring around the Laurentians, getting used to it on familiar territory . Stop for brunch and then took the long way home! What a great day! Got home late afternoon and did the first detailing on the spyder as I used to run a detailing business and like things to be shiny as will as protected. A nice coat of wax and some armor all. Didn't realize how much plastic is on it! Anyway looked beautiful when all done. The Lava bronze really shines when all done up!:ohyea:I will try and get some pics posted later in the week.
