• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2009 SM5 GS and I want to pull a home made trailer. I've been looking for the plug and play harness so I can hook up my trailer. Where can I find one or do I have to make my own?

HARNESS

:welcome:........On my 08 GS I just bought a flat four plug and tapped directly onto the OEM harness using their color coding ..... The plug was for a Toyt Echo which has separate stop and turn signals ..... and since my trailer had LED's there wasn't a hyper flash issue ...... But you can check what Value Accessories ( see Home page ) has ...... Mike

Hopkins has a 5 light to 4 light powered converter that will isolate the trailer from the Spyder's wiring. You'll need a 20 amp circuit if you use incandescent lights, and positaps make the connections easier. I had this setup on my GS and had no problems with it.
