• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2009 Spyder

I bought a 2009 Cam Am Spyder from a dealer in Walton, Ky. and rode it home on February 7th this year. I live in Indiana, and they have the worse BMV service of any state. The bike was titled in Ohio, and was sent from a dealer in Wilmington to Walton, Ky. I had a rough time getting the title changed to Indiana, but finally got it accomplished with a lot of good help from the dealer in Kentucky. Here is the strange part-----the Ohio title had it listed as a GS model, but when I got the title back from Indiana, it had been changed to an RS model. I went to a site that does searches by VIN number, and sure enough, it had it listed as an RS. Anybody have any ideas on this???

Mike has you covered. I had a 2008 GS SM5 and then added a 2009 RS SE5. The guess is that RS better represented the product--as in Roadster Spyder.

Did it come with an owners manual?...I just found my 2009 manual from mine that I traded in 3 yrs ago..Its yours if you don't have one..

Oh.....

Here I thought it was GS (Grand Sport) RS (rallye Sport) and RSS (Rallye Super Sport)....:roflblack:

That would make the RSS a roadster spyder spyder. ;)

Found out my '09 Spyder is a GS after taking the frunk off.

Maybe they changed the name mid-way through manufacturing? :dontknow:

GS /RS, as long as your Spyder is legally documented, enjoy the ride!
