• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2010 rt-s battery replacement choices

Hello all i know this has been probably been hashed to death but i just called the dealer for my 2010 spyder rt-s and a replacement battery was 140 buck and he stated it was an interstate.

My questions are: 1) what am i looking for as far as a replacement i.e. size model etc
2) do i need to go to a dealer to get it since i know they run quite a bit higher than an auto store or online.
3) if anyone can throw out some brand names and or model numbers i'd be greatful

I dont mind spending good money on a quality battery because i know how important they are but dont want to waste money just for some dealer to make profit off me

Thanks for you time

For the past few years I have bought my batteries at Batteries Plus. Good service, good batteries. Their motorcycle/ATV batteries have a 2 year warranty. Most others are just 90 days. Prices aren't the cheapest, but they are reasonable.
