• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2011 Radio & iPod only work when the engine is not running - any ideas beyond what I've already tried?

I just bought a 2011 RT and I'm having issues with the radio. When the engine is not running the radio and iPod work perfectly. When I start the engine and bring the rpm’s up, the radio or iPod cut out and then I start to get static through the speakers. When driving down the road, the music only comes in once in a while, otherwise I'm only getting static. So far, I have checked and cleaned the radio wires and antenna connections along with the ground. Today, I ordered new BajaRon plug wires thinking that might be causing the issue. Does anyone have any other ideas that I can check?

You may be going in the right direction with the plugs and wires, I would have got the air box delete kit also when you ordered the plugs and wires from Ron, because you have to take the air box out to get the front plug and wire on or have a kid do the work for you!! Make sure you put the thermal paste on the threads and dialectic grease in the plug boot! Get back to us to tell us if that fixes your issue! Good luck!!

I put in the new plugs and wires today. It runs a lot better, but the iPod/radio is still going out and causing static. Not good. I amp tested the radio and it is where it is supposed to be, so it must be some kind of wiring issue.

I don't know why the problem would have not been there from the start - that is, why it worked OK before - but you might try adding a 12V power line filter.
