• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looks like they new products are on the off road side of the house. E-ATV

Put a lift kit on the old girl, then you'll have a Canyon knock off!!! 🫣
Nah, I want to keep the F3 setup for paved roads for long distance trips and get eventually get a RedRock as a second machine for trail hopping in all of the mountain Parks and trails available around here.

If I were to sell or trade in my F3, between the 2 accidents and all of the mods I have installed, I would lose too much money.

I have also worked too hard for it, and on it, we have been through a lot together. As the saying goes "they will have to pry it out of my dead cold hands".

You have been through the war with her!!!

No kidding there, run off the road and thrown over the handlebars on month 3 of ownership, took almost 6 months for the reframe to get done.

18 months later, clipped a deer while sintering in new brakes, about another 6 months later I was rear ended on the way to O.C. bikefest and took another flight over the handlebars and into the intersection. Rear Swingarm assembly was replaced on that one.

And then I have been through some amazing times while riding, even though I hated that it rained on me everyday on my long loop that I did back in 22. I will never forget driving through thunderstorms near mount pisgah on the BRP and when I say driving through them I literally mean driving through the clouds inside the storms and eventually having to bail out near boone as nightfall was coming and didn't want to be up there in the dark.

On the way there the day before I got to experience what probably few people do and that was an evening ride after some thunderstorms on the Cherohala to get to deals gap to stay the night. I practically had the whole thing to myself and only saw one other motorcycle and a car on the way to deals gap from Tellico Plains.

And with all that has happened, she has never left me stranded on the side of the road.

Sounds like you have been through the good and the bad with her. I have a RTL for touring and the wife has a F3L (2016 Special Series) for playing games on. I too would occasionally like to travel on some roads not fit for a spyder. I have been looking towards picking up a ryker in order to fullfil that fantasy. There are some great deals on those right now in the used market. Found a low milage 2020 Rally for $6500. Just need to try and justify it to the money manager.
