There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I searched for 6000 mile service and it came up with 9 hits. Sometimes the search won't find anything if you put too many words in the search field because it wants to find exact matches. ie, if nobody stated 6k mi. service exactly that way in their post, the search will fail.
According to my dealer the 6k service is indicated to be a 7 hr job by BRP. So a huge amount of the price comes from what your individual shop charges as an hourly rate. It may benefit you to shop around at other BRP dealers.
To give you an idea I was quoted $240 by one dealer and $660 by another, now after looking at the lower priced dealers shop and conversing about the Spyder I opted to go with the higher priced dealer, which happens to be the dealer I bought my Spyder from. I simply went ahead and bought their VIP service program. 6 free services, lifetime oil changes, and 10% off on parts.
