A Milestone Hit... 10.000 Miles!

On 5 October 2010 14 hit 5,000 miles. Well, kids, we have hit another mark. It happened on the way home from work. I knew I was close, but when I was 24 miles from home, I looked down and saw this:

I was so stoked I pulled over right away and snapped a pic. It was kind of a cool moment. hyea: And so we ride on, one more mark checked off the list. It aint no Doc Doru, but it's a start! Lamont, my man, NOW we can talk about that patch! More than anything, though, I'm starting to feel like a real rider now... A Spyder Rider!! :yes:

Hey Raptor, :congrats: on the 10K mark. Not to take away, but to add, :agree: i hit my 10K this past Thursday on my 230 mile round trip to Indy. It worked out perfect, as I had to stop to gas up exactly on the 10K mark, so I snapped a couple pics as well :2thumbs: does make all the hassels go away the more miles of smiles you get in :yes:

& just a side note, the 2nd pic is what happens if you ryde thru a fog bank at 32 degrees, happened on the same ryde last week that I hit my 10K mark. The fog encapsulated the shield and froze solid. Hard to tell, but I was able to write Spyder Lovers .Com in the Ice :thumbup: Just thought I'd share with my favorite site :2thumbs:

Thanks y'all! It's going by pretty fast, I have to say. But that's more a product of having a heavy throttle hand. I mean stuff goes by FAST! :roflblack:

And congrats to CincySpyder. And your co-pilot too!! Well done, Sir. Especially in challenging conditions, as that windshield clearly shows! I have a deep respect for you cold weather riders, man. You guys are the real deal. :thumbup:
