• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2011 RT- S. Rear air bag loses pressure slowly. Compressor does not work. Only 200 miles on it now. Should I bring it to dealer now or can I wait for the 600 mile service? I will keep checking to make sure there is always 20 psi or more in the bag. Any advice, checked the switch, power is there as it does light up and shows up on the LCD monitor when the switch is pushed but compressor never kicks in. Checked fuse and relay seem to be ok. When I push the switch to lower the pressure setting it quickly drops to zero. Pump it to 60psi, holds for about two days. I did find that the valve core needed to be tighter. Still small leak somewhere.

You might have two problems occuring. Problem 1 the air bag might have a leak at the brass fitting search for posts as this was a common problem.
problem 2 and this was my spyders problem is that the computer needed an ACS update in order for the compressor to come on when to maintain proper air bag air pressure. I had an ACS update on my spyder and now the compressor comes on to keep proper air pressure in the air bag.

I am not a mechanic by any means so my explanations are weak at best sorry for any confusion. I hope that Nancy's Toy chimes in to help you out as he is a great source of info and his technical explanations are great.

This is a problem that BRP is beginning to recognize. My 2011 RTS and another guy's purchased at same dealer have the same problem--doesn't hold air and can't adjust with the button. My dealer has tried twice to fix it. Carlo at BRP is now aware of our two bikes. I believe others have had this problem too. We are waiting to hear back from our dealer.

Report it to the dealer. If you are careful to keep air in the system before you ride, and it doesn't lose it too quickly, you shaould have no problem waiting until the 600 mile service. I'd stay off real rough roads, though. The air bag provides at least half your rear support.
