• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We recently moved from a larger(to us) city to a farmhouse surrounded by pasture land. Yesterday, I drove the RT up here from our old apt towing our camper. The RT towed it with no trouble.

I needed gas so I drove to a station close to the Spyder dealer that I purchased the RT from. Coincedently, the dealer is a mere 3 miles up the road from our new shack:2thumbs:

Anyway( or as they say in England.."Anyroad") I stopped at the dealer to show the maintance manager the camper. What a flurry of Spyder activity I encountered. First, some dude followed me on the freeway right to the dealer to talk to me about the RT. He had already talked to a salesman at the dealer ,but wanted to talk to someone who actually owned one. After our conversation, I noticed he was looking at RTs with one of the salesmen.

Then, I noticed a couple taking two RTs for a test ride. I got a kick out of the smiles on thier faces as they drove off.

On my way home, not even a mile down the road, a white RS comes around the corner with two people on it waving like crazy!

It was a beautiful sunny day for a change yesterday and I was happy to see people excited aboot driving Spyders!!

Oh, and the dealer still has my old RS for sale (08 PE#200) that I traded in on the RT. The guy I talked to had looked at it before becoming interested in an RT.

Hmm...I mentioned that our old RS being for sale yet to the better half last night and she shut down that thought ("Maybe they might be willing to deal', I said,"It's been there for a few months now!!" Response from her: STEELY GLARE!:yikes:)

Anyway, twas a fun day and we're looking forward to Maggie Valley!

Now thats a GOOD day!

Maybe if you nudge your wife about buying the RS for her...:dontknow:

A lot of people are beginning to notice the :spyder2:. I am asked questions all the time when I am out and about. Also beginning to notice more of them on the road here in Alaska.

Spyders passing from the other direction seem to become more commonplace everyday, everywhere I ride. Bike nights previously limited to a single Spyder now show as many as 6 or 7. We are growing.. and you never have to worry about questions.. I even had a cop stop me, not for speeding but to ask questions about buying a Spyder for his wife.

I even had a cop stop me, not for speeding but to ask questions about buying a Spyder for his wife.

A cop pulled up to my wife back in MI at a gas station. She jokingly said "Are you following me, officer?"

"Nope, I was following THAT!", pointing at the Spyder

Have had both happen. Police pulling up beside at stop light to ask questions about Spyder and have had two different times people follow me to my destination just to ask about the Spyder. Now my youngest son comes home smiling about all the attention he gets when going out on his RS. My dealer just informed me they may soon have a second two Spyder family.

 :spyder2: :firstplace:

Yesterday (While on the way to the dealer to pick up goodies!), I was stopped by a Phone Company Repair truck. The guy just wanted to know everything about the Spyders, so we spent a good half-hour on the roadside with me doing my best salesperson impression and him acting like a buyer... :2thumbs:
We truly are the best spkespersons for your chosen rydes...

:agree: I've learned to plan extra time when I go anywhere on the :spyder2: just to be able to answer and talk with all those that follow or come up. Last haircut took me 40 minutes just to get in the door after parking the :spyder2: . I couldn't even run away if I wanted as cars had me blocked in on both ends. This really hurt my feelings :roflblack::roflblack:.

Had a guy follow me to the end of my driveway. Once I parked in the garage he asked a bunch of questions about the :spyder2:
