... It's pretty much worthless when doing errands in town. Stop, shut it off, then go again, and stop, shut it off... a pain in the ***!
I don't have a Sena and don't have too much exposure to them these days, but I wonder if yours might work like this too, if you try...
My u-Clear unit is pretty easy to start & shut off quickly, but if I'm doing stuff that means turning it off and on again more than just once in a shortish period, I generally tend to just leave it on... It automagically disconnects and re-connects with everything that shuts down and re-starts when I shut down or re-start the Spyder, generally leaving it just connected to my phone as I walk away. The u-Clear battery is more than capable of lasting all day, even for a few days, especially if I'm not continually streaming something, and even if the u-Clear is still on and stashed in the frunk &/or the pannier of the Spyder wherever I parked it however long ago, my phone, which is with me, still works fine, I just hafta select the phone speaker when I answer/make a call. And even if I go so far away from the Spyder that the u-Clear disconnects from the phone (doesn't happen that often, I can't walk too far these days!

), it'll automagically re-connect when I come back in range.
So I just turn the u-Clear on when I put my helmet on in the morning, then leave it on until I get home/stop for the night. There's no need to start it up & connect/disconnect anything as I get on and off thru the day, that all happens automagically, and my comms etc is all there and working whenever I need it until I turn it off as I stash my helmet for the night.
You might want to give it a try, and just leave the Sena on when you're running errands/jumping on and off... but then, I did move to u-Clear years ago when I found their technology was far ahead of all the other offerings, so maybe it won't work like that for you...
