• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't see anything in the rules that forbids honest negative opinions of the Spyder.

I'm no authority, but it's been my observation over the years on this site that it's not the honest negative opinions of the Spyder itself that gets a thread pulled. It's criticism of BRP itself or an expressed desire or intent to initiate legal action against BRP that triggers a thread getting pulled. Make of that what you will.

Most threads get a free ride until people start getting nasty with one another. There is "no tolerance" for those who want to attack others.

The same people do it most every controversial thread. Maybe someday they will learn. I do hope that Lamont does not shut the site down because of the ongoing issues.

Well the good thing is someone closed the gun thread at 3 pages this morning or last nite. Thank God. I can't take it no more :banghead:.

That was the kind of thread where everybody has opinion, nobody makes sense, and everybody gets PO'd and that's when the fight starts. Personally, I'd watch out for this.
