• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP site finally cooperated...

I was finally able to update my profile on the BRP site. It asked for my vin#...so I am assuming they will be sending me something? Or was that just for their records?

BRP Website

Glad it worked for you. I tried repeatedly to respond to the registration email and it always looked like the site was hanging before it finished loading. Left it on overnight once with still nothing. Maybe I'll try agin.

BRP Website GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

OK just tried it again. When I try to log in it tells me I haven't activate my account but every time I tried the link in the activation email I got nothing and now where on the site can I find a link to contact someone in the community about the problem. I'm open to suggestions. I tried re registering and got told there is already an account with with my email address.

Okay I give. What email and what site? I haven't received any emails that refer to any site so what gives?

The site is www.spyder.brp.com and there are a couple of other ways to get to the site. The email is when you go to the brp site, when it is working, you can register your spyder/spyders and they supposedly will send a welcome packet.

The welcome packet is sent some time (and only sometimes) after your Spyder ownership is properly registered by your dealer. It has nothing to do with the Web site...at least it has not in the past.

I had the same problem...

I had the same issue, I registered on the site, they sent the email with the link and for over a week it wouldn't allow me to confirm my registration. I kept getting an error message on the site. The email said I only had 48 hours to complete so after a couple of days I called the brp technical assistance number(it isn't for website assistance, but I didn't care). The guy told me not to worry about the 48 hours and to keep trying. Eventually after several days of tying many times per day it finally went through...after that worked I couldn't update my profile for over 2 weeks and finally today it worked so I definitely don't have the inside track. I just kept trying and one day it worked. The site even used to freeze when I was just researching the Spyder. They probably have lost a few customers who got frustrated while trying to build a spyder online.

It sorta' worked

Finally got it to confirm my membership:clap: However, every time I try to do anything it logs me out:banghead: so I guess I'll wait a few days and try again. Gotta' say after Cardo's site this is one aggravating website. Still ahvin' fu8n on Spydee :D:yes:

Can-am is just testing you to see if you are really committed to joining. You have to show them you are dedicated. They want your blood, sweat, and tears to access the spYder website. How bad do you want it soldier!!! :roflblack:
