• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Buying new 2023 RTL from dealer… any concerns from it sitting that long?

After they took it off the showroom floor a year or so ago, it’s been in a somewhat climate controlled outbuilding with other motor cycles. Cold in the winter, but not below 40°.
They agreed to put in a new battery and I have negotiated them into paying for the full first service at any Can-Am dealer. Among the items covered are: change the engine oil & filter, lube chassis & suspension, inspect the belt tension, re-torque lug nuts/axle nuts, inspect the idle speed, set the tire pressures, inspect the coolant, the brake fluid level, and run a BUDS report. It’s a couple of States away, and I plan on going out and trailering it home. Any thoughts on what items should be done before I take it home, or things to check since it’s sat idle for so long would be appreciated.
I've ridden for over 15 years, but this will be my first Can-Am. I am looking forward to it. I considered getting a 2024, having some of the updates, and not having to deal with these issues, but I know I’ll be happy with the 2023 and I get to save a decent amount of money as well. Thanks for any input.
