I left Murphy, NC Thursday morning on my ST-S to attend a high school buddies reunion. Arrived back home today after 1740 miles. No issues at all with the Spyder on the trip. When I got home, I pulled in the driveway to unload before parking the Spyder in the garage. After unloading, I started the Spyder and got "brake failure" on the display. I pulled into the garage and shut off the Spyder. Looking under it, brake fluid was pouring out of it and there was also a puddle in the driveway where I had first parked. I must have run over something in the driveway that came up and punctured a brake line, or maybe something in there came loose. I got out a flashlight and looked but could not see where the fluid was coming from without jacking it up. I'll get AAA to tow it to the dealer later this week for the repair. My wife asked why I was laughing when I discovered the problem. I said that this could have happened anywhere on the trip and I could have been stranded in the middle of nowhere. Thank the gods that it happened at the end of my trip in my own driveway. Despite this hiccup, I love my Spyder and it performed flawlessly on the trip.:yes::yes:
