• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do you Need better brakes coz stock discs are twisted?

I am on my 5th RT Ltd since 2011 and never had an issue pulling a RT622 trailer on the 2011, 2014, and 2016. I've never had a brake disc problem either, but the 2020 and 2023 have cost me 6 sets of discs. I brake using engine compression like crazy but that can't always be enough, and only once did I have to use heavy braking!!! So in my book, the quality since 2020 really took a dive for the worst, probably made in China Brembo. I have just received my new floating disc brake from Martin and sure hope these good looking discs will do the trick!🤞
In all of those brake jobs you have done, were they all stock pads and rotors you replaced them with? Have you ever tried EBC?

2 year old thread revived! My 2020 RT had a warped right rotor after 1 year and 15k miles of spirited riding. I replaced both front rotors with EBC and only use EBC pads (incl. on all bikes since 2010). Replaced the EBC pads at 36k and have 44k trouble-free miles so far. YMMV.

Old thread... Current issue.

Had a customer with an F3 that went through 3 OEM rotors. Warranty covered them all. (I applaud the dealership for this level of service. Many will tell you that the rotor is considered a wear component and not covered). Anyway, with the 4th warped rotor he came to us for EBC replacements because the warranty had expired and it was on his dime this time.

He never had another warped rotor. We've had similar encounters, but none as drastic as this one. We have a number of customers convert the front rotors and pads just to get improved stopping power. It is great to be able to recommend something proven to work well.
