• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Doing Burnouts

Figmo.... (May I call you by your first name? :D)
As you can see; this group wears it's collars a bit on the "tight" side...
Don't let them dissuade you from your quest for information. It's just that most folks in here just aren't into it...

...and they LOVE passing judgment; on folks who are! :banghead:
If you can catch Mike (Blueknight911), or Drew (DrewNJ); they might be able to offer some useful insight.
Oh! Yazz is also pretty good on the line!

But have you noticed the odd post on how short lived tires are on spyders..??...:roflblack::roflblack: deep pockets I hope...:spyder:you tube had some impressive burnouts and the companies that prepped the spyders, sorry can't remember the names...

Was thinking same thing. Never did burn outs with my car when a teen and now that I'm way past that don't see the thrill or fun in throwing money down a rat hole. :banghead:

A true burnout is until the tire blows. Are you just talking about squealing the tires? I have seen hundreds of true burnouts at Sturges. Quiet impressive.

Had a friend who just completed a small building for tools. He was showing us a burnout--lost it and both the M/C and he went through the new structure. I thought we were going to die laughing. These burnouts are not for beginners!

The folks here know how I feel about bypassing safety systems. Stay safe figmotoday and make sure that insurance premium is paid:yikes:

If you want to do it,just twist that throttle and watch it smoke. I did a rolling burnout on my 09 RSS. Had the tire smoke for about 30 ft. Sitting still burnout is trickier because of the ABS. Slightly hold the brake down and throttle up. Once it starts moving, let er rip. Stay straight and be careful. You can burn thru that back tire pretty quick.

No burn outs or drift trikes

Hi Bob,

Sure, free to call me figmo or jon or the bonehead guy trying to increase speed and performance while improving riding and dragging and burning skills..........Mike & Drew & Yazz have always been helpful with their knowledge and guidance.
Oh ya, no dissuasion for me. While attempting to gather kernels of truth & guidance, I expect to read interesting & polar & purposefully negative perspectives & responses to any post, it is the nature of the beast.

Anyhows, Steve McQueen said it best, "Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting."

Coz, good humor & your 3 wheel with engine is cool

Anyone familiar with (FIGMO)? Hint: I learned it while I was in the Marines.

I can tell you some of the rubber on the demo F3 belonging to CanAm never made it back to the trailer. Amazing how easy a burnout is on an F3....

I did buy one the same day so don't feel too bad for them:sour:

Hi jcthorne,
Could you post a picture of your Lamonster Edition F3? I'd like to see how cool they turned out.

BURNOUTS

Sometimes YA JUST GOTTA DO IT. Second rear tire in 25k, out of my system now but DID IT TURN HEADS AND FEEL GOOD. A person needs to know what the ride is capable of.
