• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ever see this 3 wheeler

hanks for the "much-Trusted" input!
For that kind of money: I was curious if their would be a "perception of value", or just another cobbed-together nightmare.

Personally, I liked it better than a Slingshot. More upscale and classy. No comment on reliability but the baseline seems good to use for a drivetrain.

The guy showing me the machine was maybe the National Sales Director. He explained a lot.

Without doubt, these may be more a toy for the wealthy than a replacement for a Spyder.

I could see these being a neat nostaligic vehicle to cruise the country side in areas like the NE.

Here in Florida, I would buy the Miata, or S2000. Just seems a better choice for where I live.

Both models use carbon fibre to build the bodywork. The one I saw was laid up carbon, while this Venice version according to the info sounds like formed sheet modeling compound (SMC) carbon based material. Similar to how they mold the beds on a Tacoma pickup. Big sheet of material, laid into the form, then shaped quickly with heat and pressure, the heat curing the resin system. Much less labor, but more involved process initially.

My dealer was explaining his customer base for this would be the upscale north shore of long island and looking at it & price
i very much agree. it in no way is a competitor for the :spyder2: or sling shot but a very different buyer

I saw these at the Sema show two years ago they were in the $60-$80,000 range the model called the Laguna is going out of production that's the one with the doors on it, those run in the mid 60s right now. The other model will be in the high 30s around 38 to 39,000
there are some demo units for sale right now in Las Vegas at the dealer in the mid 30s if you want to Laguna with doors they all have about 48,000 miles.

For about $30,000: they're worth a look! :D[/QUOTE]

I wouldn't want it to replace my Spyder, but if I was looking for another such toy, I'd definitely look into one of those.

About the prices - $77K for the Laguna Bespoke!
