• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FLASHING LIGHTS

I ride in various parades and groups that escort military funerals. We always use our four way flashers. Has anybody installed a WIG-WAG light flashing system on their Spyder. If so, how did you do it? Is it installed into the fog lights, other lights, added more lights, front only or front and back, and does it have a separate switch to allow them to be back to normal?

No matter what you do, I'd install led lights for your flashers. Incandescent bulbs flashing are lame imho

Recently saw a video from the owners event of Inspector Gadgets RT with strobes on the rear. Haven't contacted him yet, but would like to know how he installed them.

I will atempt to post pics later. I have two yellow "highway bright yellow led" on front, one on rear. They have separate switchs and can be set several ways. They are not cheap but are effective. I got them at a Emergency Equipment store, Fire, Police stuff. I will look for more info later

I will try to add pics of mine. I guess it worked. The black box on back is from Radio Shack, project box. 3 bars on side, 1 red, 1 white, 1 blue move back and forth. Hard to see but blue led at top and bottom of box. Super bright LED on back. The yellow light on Top from Wal Mart, mag mount. Box has metal top. Separate switches for each. I do not use the rear facing LD at night, unless I am in back, to bright. Bolted to rack with power outlet plug and into trunk.

The fronts are super bright LED with separate switch on dash. The larger front view shows how they blend in. The close up is on the right side, sitting on Spyder.
Hope some of this helps.

I installed wig wag for the brake lights they work great so the drivers on their cells phones might see me braking

Leaving on your 4 Way Flashers to long could cause troubles on Spyders that have certain LED light packages installed! My best contact is Reggie at Tricleds, a Spyderlovers sponser:yes: He is very helpful on any light matters:thumbup::thumbup:

With my stock 4 ways, no mods, I have had them on for 2 hours or more on long escort runs. I will say again, stock.
