FM radio interference with LED fog lights

I recently installed a Boss FM radio on my 2015 F3s equipped with Lamonster LED fog lights. When I turn the fog lights on, the radio sound disappears completely, yet I can use my MP3 player thru the same FM amplifier without a problem. The Lamonster did send a pair of anti-flickering filters that made no difference. I now have to decide when riding, do I want fog lights or FM radio, not both simultaneously. I would appreciate any thoughts.

I had a the same thing happen on my 2014RTS-SE6, installed a resister.

I don't have any problems with my radio.

My neighbor installed decorative outside flood lights on their home. when turned on the garage door opener won't work. They need to have the type of flood light bulbs changed. Hard to believe a light bulb can cause that much interference--But it Did :-(

Great - how about more detail ie where was the resistor installed (LED line -speaker - amplifier line), type of resistor and where purchased

I have been struggling with this problem from day one and very frustrated.

I too did not have a problem installing LED headlights and fog lights on my 2014 RT. It is the Boss radio installed on my 2015 F3s that is giving me headaches. Just cannot use fog lights and radio simultaneously.

I've posted on a different Thread about this issue ….. Some LED headlight units are not properly shielded AS THEY COME FROM THE MANUFACTURER. a set that I bought for my Toyt. Tacoma interfered with my radio … ( and still do ) … I bought another set ( 4 lights ) from a different company - these do NOT interfere with my radio ………… I also have LED headlites from Reggie on my RT and they DO NOT interfere with my radio...…. If you bought a set of LED's and they interfere with your reception get in touch with the Seller and get your money back ...……….. I just installed lamonster led headlights and auxiliary lights on my F3L. Headlights are fine. auxiliary lights kill my FM radio signal. Have to get a hold of lamont.

I had this problem and just called Jacob at Lamonster Garage. He semt me out some RF filters to install in line and they worked fine after that.

Bought my headlights and fogs from brand T and there are NO problems.
