• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FOBO Problem

I am having a problem getting the recommended pressure to stay set. When I go into the settings and go to profile and hit edit bike profile I set the front tires to 20psi and the rear to 30psi. Then I go through the process of recalibrating each wheel as it says and all is good. Then I come back later and the rear tire and front show 19.8 as the recommended setting and the alert is showing rear tire problems since it is at 30psi. I have tried releasing all sensors, reinstalling the system and same results. The recommended psi for all 3 tires goes to 19.8psi no matter what I put in initially. It stays for a while the when I leave range and return its at 19.8 recommended. I have checked the instructions over and over. What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

FOBO has changed how this works a few times.
At one time you could set whatever you want.

Recently even if you set the recommended pressure it recalculates it based on what you set your min and max to!
So they tell you the recommended based on those. Yes it seems you can set it but it does not change it permanently.

Try this test to be sure. Raise your max up about 5 psi (don't change min) and you will see it will change the recommended.

I had to work with them on the Air Shock because of this problem. A few releases ago they would not let you set the large min and max needed for the air shock because the pressure in the air shock changes a lot! e.g. from 40 to 80 PSI. So they unlinked min and max but then recalculate the recommended for some reason.

But be aware... you do not get alarms based on recommended anyway so it really doesn't matter.

Question ....."when you come back". About how long & far were you gone. If its loosing connectivity i can see a default setting coming up. Would need app update to fix Hope it is figged out before i get mine at spyderfest......:)

It happens when I am out of range for awhile after setting it.
Standard trouble shooting...next step keep phone in range & see if that helps. The app should keep settings by all means, then phone call to fobo & get them involved.

Sent email to FOBO with description of problem. They got back super fast. Here was reply.
"Kindly advise which mobile you are using and what is the OS version.

Please send us the screen shot of the pressure page and the settings page in order for us to troubleshoot the issue."

So, tomorrow I will send info and hopefully we can get it fixed.
