Front brake noise (clicking sound)

On my 2012 RT-S I find the front brakes making a loud noise when I apply the brakes. The brakes make a clicking noise. I understand it's the brake pads making this sound. The dealer advised me this is normal.

Does everyone find this happening with their Spyder ?

Is there anything I can do to soften this noise ?

Mine does click when first applying the brake, but that is the only time. I had my back pads replaced at 9600 miles.

My spyder does the same thing. What I find odd is that the right side always clicks first, followed shortly thereafter by the left.

Just sayin'.............

My 2012 RT has done it since day one.

My 2012 RS clicks only once and it's only the first time you push on the brakes going forward after using reverse.

My 2012 RTS left front brake will squeak when I first start driving but stops after the first or second time I use the brakes. I have 900 miles on it

My 2012 RT has done it since day one.

Mine does the same thing the first and/or second time each day and then nothing for the rest of the ride:dontknow: Must be the norm!

Same here. On first brake, coming out of the garage, the front brakes will click.

Also, when I'm backing up, I can hear a slight hum from the rear brake. This has been documented by many others in the past as well, and it's not a big deal as I prefer to go forward, but just be aware that you may pick up on that too on your travels.
