• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

great oil drain pan

Others probably found this or know this already, :dontknow: but while getting my oil for my first DIY oil change effort, I saw this oil drain pan at my local O'reilly's auto parts store. It is called the "Less Mess drain pan" and is 21" X 11" x 4" deep. It covered both drain areas under our 2014 RTL spyder completely. It holds 11 Qts of used oil (not that we need that !) Anyway....just in case you are looking or need a new one or just want one.....:roflblack::thumbup:

Don't give up Tenin, when you post here there will always be comments, that's just the way it works. A shared idea is always good and helpful to someone.

After all the comments in reply.........sorry I brought it up ! Won't happen again.
It's a good post Ray,stimulated lots of comment and will have given those other 1st timers like you lots to think about on how ARE they going to get rid of that old nasty stuff. Besides that's what makes the forum interesting, seeing all the different ways we solve the same problem.

Tenin, thanks for posting this. I need a new drain pan as my old one is too small and I end up spilling oil. There's an O'Reilly's about 2 miles away from me and has the pan in stock so I'll pick one up today.

I have the same pan and it works very well. The oil filter drain section is a nice touch.
