• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Having problems opening my '22 F3L Frunk - could it be the cable?

I have a 2022 F3 Limited. I am having problems opening up the frunk. It has the cable not the solenoid. I hear the click but it just won't open. Has this happened to anyone else ? If so what can be done to correct the issue.

Do you have the frunk pretty full? On both the RTs I have had if I "overfilled" the frunk "a bit" I would have to push down on the frunk by the latch (just a little), when I turned the key, just so it relieves some of the tension against the latch.

That’s different & Yet another key to misplace.
Keyed alike locks and a key that fits both locks is attached to the Spyder key with a split ring.

If the key does get lost and the three other same keys screwed to a board in my shop, then it will be much easier to just snip the lock hasp than to try getting into the frunk with the OEM factory cables.

Had the same problem after trying to adjust the latch. Took it to the dealer on a slow Saturday just before they closed. They got the frunk open, and adjusted the latch -- no problems since then. It might have helped that I'm older than dirt...

I've found that what works for me is to stand close to and facing the Spyder.
I turn the key with my right hand to unlock the frunk, and while the key is still turned I use my left hand to lift the frunk lid.
