• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heat issues with 2013/RT

I'm 2 weeks into owning our 2013 RT-S with just 700+ miles. Have read about heat issues. I'm thinking of adding an exhaust fan to the left side where hardly any heat comes out. Any thoughts on doing this. Has anyone done this? I found a small waterproof 12 volt fan and would hook it up to manually turn on and off.

people on here have tried many things to help with the heat, i personally spent 2500 dollars on vents and painting of the parts and installing them only to find what i did really didn't help much, so i just sold the bike. now before you start spending time and money try riding the bike in hot weather. there are plenty of people pn here that don't have a problem, so wait and see b4 you jump into fixes

New to site navigation so I'm just finding your replies. So far I have to say no heat problems yet. This summer will tell I'm sure. If it does bother I'm leaning towards wrapping the pipes and insulating. I did remove the stock air deflectors in front of the vents on the sides of the fairing. The more I ride it the more I like it. The wife says it is the best ride of the 4 bikes we have had.:)
