Help With ESI Fender Tip Lights

We are trying to install the esi fender tip lights in order to put the mud flap lights on. As far as we can tell we've done everything right according to their instructions and when we turn on the light - blinkers - nothing lights up on the fender tips.

Anyone else have trouble and figured out how to make it all work?

Some of the wiring is backward from BRP. Mine were actually different on each side.

We used a test light and found our hot wires were the same on both sides. We are working on my 2012 does that make any difference?

Make sure you have a good ground connection. :thumbup:

Use you tester to assure you have power going to your tips...if so you they may be defective. Both being defective is unlikely.

Thanks we do have good ground. They work if we disconnect the kit.

When I installed my LED tip lights I found that I needed both lights installed to work. I guess the bike needed the circuit to be complete.

. The tip lights are the LED Type (correct)? You stated that in the original configuration they work but the kit doesn't. It appears you have a wire reversal in the kit or the inline module is wired wrong or defective. They fender lights are independent from one another. Are you taping into the correct wire at the mirror? Try the other wire.

We are working on my 2012 RS the kit plugs in down on the A arm then posi-taps into the blinker wire behind the instrument cluster.

One email from ESI asked what type of spyder and what color the wire is that you posi-tap. We're thinking a bad batch went out because the next email said to call them on Monday.
