There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
How do I Change my Avatar Picture?

Go up to the Top Right of the page on your screen and click on to 'Settings'; then scroll down the column on the left of the resulting page until you reach 'Edit Avatar' & click on that. The resulting page will show your current avatar and below that is a block titled 'Custom Avatar' with 2 options in it for loading a new Avatar; pick one, follow the steps, & save it when you're ready.

) get away with just refreshing the page, but you may need to log out & re-enter the Forum to see your new Avatar alongside your posts, or possibly you might even need to clear all your devices saved cookies.... but it should show eventually. Thats correct Peter, It was me(T.P.)who made the gif a long time ago. It was me (T.P.) who sent it to you , to resize,make work and attatch to my profile. As my avatar (T.P.). it has nothing to do with Gerald37. TP avatar goes on T.P.'s profile.
