• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do I get to the battery on a 2019 RT Ltd??

Hi all, I just bought a 2019 RT Ltd.

I know the battery is in front, but how do I get to it? I've unzipped the cover, but all I see are two fuse boxes.
Someone on another forum said to take out the basket - what basket? I want to put battery tender cables on it.

I've only had the bike three days, and there's no OP book...
Help please?! Keith

You can download an Acrobat PDF copy of the Operators Guide from:

Just select the Year and then the Model you have.

Page 115 of the 2019 Operators Guide shows you where the battery is, and how to remove the two screws that hold the Access Panel in place.
The battery is behind the Access Panel.

Remember to disconnect the cable connected to the negative terminal first, then the positive cable.
Replace them in reverse order - connect the positive cable first and then negative cable.
