There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
How do I go on someones profile to view some mods they've done to their Spyder?

I can't get any pics of what mods someone has made just by clicking on their screen name.
Clicking the name gets
"View Profile View Forum Posts

nowhere do I see pics or a list of mods, most common list of mods is sometimes in their signature line
If you view their profile and click "about me" you get some info but not everyone lists their mods or shows pics of them, Some show only their Spyder.
If you want to actually see the mods someone has made they would have to post pics somewhere, wouldn't they?

Go to "Home, Forum, What's New? Store, Gallery below Spyderlovers Community Forum
Then go to "Gallery" a drop down menu will appear:
Album Gallery,
Picture Gallery,
Latest Albums
My Albums,
Add Album
Then click on the 1 you want to see/View under that persons name/avatar.

only works if that person has posted pics,
you can do a gallery search by name also. But if they have not posted pics your search will get threads they have posted in and no pics of their spyder
this is a good reminder for us all to post pics of our rides and mods
