• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just ordered BUDS w/ Megatech license.

Thanks - did you create the custom tune map or was it pre-made? I like the idea of less twist of the wrist when above 25 mph.
The PV4 is awesome. It comes with basic tunes from Dynojet, but when you buy from Fuel Moto they include custom tunes, and updates for when you add mods later.

I've collected several data logs from riding and sent them to Fuel Moto, and they tweaked the tune twice for my specific bike.
I'm happy with the current tune, until I make my next performance mod. ;)

As far as tweaking the throttle map, I had to buy access from DynoJet to unlock the tune files.
I only changed things above 40% throttle, as I didn't want to make it twitchy around town or when cruising.
I have it now so it gets to 100% requested torque at around 80% pedal, which makes it easier on the wrist to get full power.

I also lowered the cold and hot idle speeds, changing the map so it doesn't rev so high on startup, and lowers idle a bit quicker as it warms up.
I didn't go too far with that, and I haven't had any stalling or other startup problems. BRP probably has the fast idle set to warm the cat for emissions.

I asked Fuel Moto beforehand, and he said if I was only changing things like throttle and idle speed, fan on/off temps, etc, they would still continue the free tune support.
He did say if I made changes to the fuel or ignition maps, or other critical parameters, that he wouldn't be able to continue the tune.
I can understand that, as dicking around in there would make it hard for him to track changes.

Overall, I'm very happy with the PV4 as well as Fuel Moto.

Jamie and Lucas are great people. I've been using Fuel Moto since 2004, when Jamie started cutting his tuning teeth. I'll likely be buying my tuning license for my PV3 sometime this season :)
