It seems that some think a 3 wheeled whatever is a bike or trike for this forum, but what about this...
This belongs to Jay Leno he says it a car like a Morgan 3 wheel car and others, what do you think
should this be called a Spyder Trike?

Fully enclosed like a car, I would call it a car.

I had one of these many, many years ago while at University back in Britain.

Its a Bond Bug

Based on the chassis from the Reliant Robin made famous by Mr Beans Archnemesis.

3 wheeled cars became popular in the late 60's early 70's, you could drive one on a motorcycle license. So as the mods and rockers of the 60's got married and started a family then this was you quickest route int an automobile.

My Bond bug was great fun, except over winter time, as four wheeled automobiles plowed tow tracks in the road, the center wheel would bounce like crazy as it road over the snow mound built up in the middle.

In California you don't need a M1 for three wheeled bikes, but if you inclose the passenger area (like this one) you then are classified as a car.

In most states it would be registerd as a Motorcycle, So it must be a Motorcycle.

In Michigan a vehical with 3 wheels and under 1500 pounds is a motorcycle. 3 wheels and above 1500 pounds it is a car.
