• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok,

Last night BRP Go! update on my android phone and gave me an indication in the app that navigation should be available now on the Spyder....

This morning I pulled the bike outside closer to the 2G wifi and now the bike is updated to V5.## software and shows a heading of "Navigation" in the menu.

We are heading out of town this morning so I will mess with it after getting back...

Just a heads up to those with a 10.25" display... It's Heeeeerrrrrrrreeeeeee!!

Actually it is a connection between Android or Apple phones and the BRP GO ! app on the phones that allows the embedded navigation of the app to show in the Spyder cluster, not the full Android Auto mais certainly a solution for Android phones owners. Only apply to the 2024 + new 10,25 in. dashboard which has to be updated to V5.1.0 from the previous 4.1.0

Installed the update via wifi. Downloaded the BRP GO app and registered. Connected my Samsung phone via Bluetooth. Opened the applet to navigation. Opened the BRP GO app on my phone. Plugged in a USB A to USB C cable. The app connects for a split second and then disconnects. The phone switches from charging only to transfer data, back and forth for a minute or so until the app says it can't connect. I've tried several different cables to no avail.
