• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally Friday

 Yesterday, Thursday, was supposed to be a 'Doc Free Day'.
I needed to get some extra sleep and it just didn't happen.
Ended up sleeping 8am till 1pm.
Man, I never felt so bad.

High of 84°F with sun and a little clouds. Low of 68°F.

Stay Healthy. ....:thumbup:7

We have had thunder, lightning, and rain for the last 14 hours or so here in the desert S.W. Very much needed and welcomed. It looks like this pattern will last for the next 2 or 3 days. Yesterday morning I did take the bike cover off and got a little ride in. There is a lady that lives here that has M.S. who needed help hanging a few pictures. I loaded my level, picture hanging kit, hammer, and pencils into the bike and used that as an excuse to ride Fat Old Grey. It was hot and very humid. I was soaked with sweat by the time I got home. Put Fat Old Grey back under cover with the battery maintainer hooked up. Stay safe..... Jim

P.S. I just re-read my post and think it could be misinterpreted. Fat Old Grey is the name of my trike, not the lady I was helping.....:lecturef_smilie:

Weekend Weather

It has been hot for me here in Indiana. Now 86°F with sunshine.
Today 88°F was the high and 72°F for the low.
Calling for some rain showers this evening.

Sunday's high 90°F with sunshine, low of 64°F.

Enjoy your Weekend. ......

It's been really sucky down here in Alabama. For most of the month, temps have been in the high 80s, some low 90s, but very high humidity. Normally that would be swell, as the summer temps by now are usually in the mid- to high 90s, maybe 100+. Not this year. So far, the weather forecasts have 25 -50% chance of showers every day. And when it rains, it's been really dumping. i hate riding in the rain, because rain suits turn into portable saunas in a heartbeat in the summer.

Tuesday

:coffee: The weather people are saying three more days of this hot stuff. This 90°F Heat is to much for me. I will try to do a few early morning rydes.

High today 91°F, low of 68°F. Going to be a good day.

Stay Healthy. ....

Yesterday here in Vt. the sky had a blue haze to it, it was from the wild fires out West. They had a air quality alert.

We had rain today, temps in the 70's cloudy.

Hot, saw 113 on my dash on the way up to Sturgis, which means it was about 107. Didn’t get down to 100 until we got to Nemo. Couldn’t even see Harney Pk with the smoke haze.

Have some friends who drove to Rapid a couple days ago to do 4 wheeling with family. Hotter there than here in the desert! We are experiencing 103-105 highs with the chance of more monsoon rain and a little cooling by the weekend. Stay safe..... Jim

Wednesday

:coffee: Looks like another hot day, now 70 °F. I did not ryde yesterday because it was too late and hot.
We have the smoke from the Western fires making the sky very hazey .

High of 88°F with sunshine/haze, low 72°F.

Have a Blessed Day. ....

Another week of 90 plus. Supposed to get to 97 today. Going to avoid the riding in the full sun, but may do an evening ride when it cools down to the high 80's.

Mixed up Weather

:coffee: It seems that the weather has been somewhat crazy here in Indiana. Hoter then normal for the season, luckily I have been able to be inside. My health issues are causing me to be more careful about outdoor activities.

Indiana has been hotter this year than the last years. I hope you have enjoyed the season and are taking caution with the heat. I try and do my outdoor work in mornings. 70°F now, going to be another hot day 90°F, low of 68°F.

Enjoy your Day and Stay Healthy. ......

Finally cooler!

Little Blue - hoping your health improves soon!
I will miss your daily weather posts.

Here in south-central PA, we have been in a pattern of 4 to 5 days of 90+ and humid weather for what feels like forever. Those hot days have been followed by 1 or 2 cooler days and then the cycle has repeated over and over. Yesterday was in the mid-80's and, as of 0924 hrs today, we have beautiful blue skies and 65 degrees! AC is off... windows are open... enjoying the fresh air!

Time for another ride!
Ride Safe,
Gina J
