:chat:....Well folks it looks like a rain shower is on the horizon, currently 75°F. Did not receive any rain yesterday. It was in the area but it never landed.
I have ordered another truck load for today and tomorrow.

Today's numbers are 86°F with some clouds.
Low at 62°F. Maybe get some rain this afternoon.

Stay Healthy and Be Safe. ....

We have been in the "extreme heat warning" area. We have seen 99 degrees, but so far, it has not cracked the 100 mark. Today it's cool. Only 85 degrees.

Tomorrow, a reprieve is on the way. Supposed to be 75ish.

July is almost over and I am glad. I don't like cold weather at all, but I am getting tired of the hot, sticky weather right now.

Weekend Weather

:coffee:...Welcome to another Indiana weekend weather news. Yesterday's weather was just wonderful and I was able to enjoy Spyder Ryde Time. It has been crazy for Indiana. The temperatures and the humidity are miserable. I guess that's the way it is for some of us now.

Currently we have clear skies and 60°F.
Today's high is only 80°F with some clouds.
Low of 59°F. No rain.

Sunday's high is 82°F with clouds.
Low at 62°F. No rain.

Enjoy your time and look forward to some nicer weather.

Ongoing excessive heat warnings continue here in the desert S.W. Afternoon temperatures will be 110-114 for the next few days (at least). There are a few high clouds filtering some of the sun but not enough to cool. At 11 AM it was 104. Humidity is 14% and there is a 5 MPH breeze. Last evening I could see some lightning in the far distance so there was some monsoon in parts of Arizona. But, nothing made it to the valley. All that good cool weather and rain stayed up in the mountains. Stay safe..... Jim

Current temp in Vt. is 69 degrees and cloudy.

Tonight, there we will have some dense fog; otherwise, it will become mainly clear and be good sleeping conditions. Lows will be in the 50's and even a few upper 40's are possible in the cooler valleys. Sunday will be a great day. with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 80's. An isolated afternoon thunderstorm can't be ruled out but that's about it.

Next week isn't looking as active as the past 2 weeks thankfully. That said, the chance for some showers and thunderstorms will continue. Monday will be partly sunny, with a few showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80's with lows in the 60's. The most active day of the week is Tuesday, with scattered showers and thunderstorms. It doesn't look like a significant event, but they will keep an eye on it.

Very warm and moderately humid conditions will rule for the rest of the week and into next weekend. Skies will generally be partly sunny. A few showers and thunderstorms are expected Wednesday and again on Friday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80's (possibly a few low 90's Thursday) with lows in the 60's. Saturday is looking cooler and pleasant.

:ohyea:...Welcome back from the weekend, currently we have 64°F. Oh man that was just a wonderful weekend, the temperatures were nice. Also the humidity was low for this time of year.

TV news is saying that flood waters are going well and now the big clean-up is underway. I hope everyone can start to get back to normal.

Today 86°F with some clouds. Maybe get some rain showers this afternoon. Time will tell on the rain. We definitely need some more rain.
Low of 64°F.

Enjoy your Day and be Patient. ....

:coffee:...I never received my second truck load of rain. Must have been hijacked somewhere in transit. ...:roflblack:....:roflblack:
So needless to say I am still short on rain.
Currently clear sky and 64°F.

Today's numbers are 90°F with lots of sunshine.
Low of 70°F, no rain in the forecast.

The tomato plants are looking good for now. I think the tomatoes are on vacation or something. I am still waiting for the first one.

Stay Healthy and Ryde Safe. ....

Deanna, Thanks for the rain offering! We need it!!! Currently it's 102 and heading for a high of 118 today and 119 tomorrow. Humidity is 14%. There are no clouds and the wind is calm. We are now closing in on a full month of 110+ temperatures. It's been several months since we've seen any rain. However, the forecast now shows a bit of cooling and rain chance by this weekend and into next week. I'll believe it when I see it.

Our community pool keeps the aerators on 24/7 in order to maintain a reasonable water temperature. Otherwise, the water would be too warm to be refreshing for us hot old seniors. Bobbing in the pool is about the only outside activity that can be tolerated in this heat. Even walking across a parking lot can be an adventure if wearing thin rubber soled shoes. Some people are reporting shoe melt down! Stay safe..... Jim

After posting this, I read a news article about hospital burn centers being overloaded by people getting burned when falling down. Something I hadn't given any thought to. They said the pavement can get to 180+ degrees and even quick contact can be serious. Several people have died from burns acquired by just falling down. This heat is dangerous.....

:coffee:...Welcome to my local area weather news for Indiana. I had a nice little rain shower this morning. (3am) Currently overcast skies and 70°F.
Going to be a beautiful dry day with lots of sunshine. The humidity is going to be a big problem. The TV news has said that a heat advisory will be in effect for the next couple of days.

High today of 90°F with some clouds and sunshine.
Low of 73°F. A very small chance of rain showers late tonight. I will try and finish up some outdoor projects early this morning.

Be Safe and remember to Smile. ....

It's after 10PM when I usually don't participate but, I just can't resist. After nearly 4 dry months, we are finally seeing some rain! There is lightning and thunder all around. Rain is coming down off and on. Sometimes in heavy waves. This is very welcome. More reports later. Stay safe..... Jim

:chat:....Yesterday's weather was just hotter than I can enjoy. The temperature (90°F) and now the humidity are miserable for me. Currently we have 75°F and some clouds.

Going to be a repeat of yesterday's weather.
High of 91°F, with some sunshine. A small chance of rain showers in the afternoon.
Low of 73°F.

Live Life to the Fullest. ....

Last night's storm was the first we've seen this season. It started with a dust storm about 9:30. Reports are that winds were up to 60 MPH but I didn't see anything near that.... Maybe 20 MPH at my house. Then just before 10PM It started to rain. That lasted about a half hour as the storm passed through. More monsoon activity is predicted for the weekend. This is a welcome relief for both heat and dry weather we have had. Stay safe..... Jim

The current weather here in Vermont is, it is raining, cloudy. The temp is 70's.

We do have some humidity.

This weekend ( Sunday,) will like Fall:gaah:
