There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Part of me being so open about our situation comes at a cost. You see the good, the bad and the ugly. The part I hate most is the times I get upset and ugly with my wife. She didn’t ask for this and if she had enough and walked I wouldn’t blame her. Nobody should have to deal with this.
I thought I would be able to control my emotions and rage better this time and I was wrong. I’ve been mad at the world and I wind up talking it out on her too. I had to text my own wife last night for how I’m acting and tell her I’m sorry
. Being a caregiver sucks and the love we had in the beginning is gone. It’s definitely different now and I hate that for both of us. I know what the end of life is going to be like for me. Joan on the other hand has nothing but more stress to deal with and the stress she has now is killing her and I’m the cause.
I thank you all for your faithful prayers and compassion but the only prayer I need right now is to not be such a burden to the only one that has been here for me 24/7
