• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LED turn signals and now hyper flash

WDAVEY -- 2800 lumens plus end-firing focusing lens. That's awesome. About the same lumens as my LED fog lights. And ten times the lumens of my SBL 7507s. The current difference matches (2A vs 0.2A) the lumens so I gotta believe their performance claims. And the construction is awesome too -- long body with both cooling ribs and cooling vents. I'm going to buy a pair tonight. Thanks.

Auxito 7507 bubls are bright!

WDAVEY -- I installed the Auxito 7507 turn signal bulbs today and here is the comparison with my SBL 7507:
SBL vs Auxito.jpg
Way brighter (the picture really doesn't show how much). And Yes I slaved my reverse lights to the turn signals.

Thanks for sharing your find with us.

I contacted Auxito about 1157 bulbs for my 2019 F3 base. Although not stated on their webpage, an e-mail from them indicated they were CANBUS enabled. I order two red led’s, and should have them in a couple of weeks. I will report back on how they work out.

Bert, The Auxito bulbs are brighter than the SBL, imagine how much brighter they are than the incandescents they replace! I can't understand why every other bulb on the 2021 is LED except the rear signals? Especially knowing what a PITA they are to change!

Installed LED mirror turn signals
Had install 330 ohm resister in 12v line to LED in each mirror LED strip to stop fast turn signal flashing.

I don't have time to read the entire posts right now. There is a bulb that is supposed to work that prevents the hyper-flash. Information I copied a while back and left in a file.

EverBright 2800Lumen 7507 Led Bulb,
No Hyper Flash BAU15S PY21W 5009 12496 Front Rear Turn Signal Bulb,
Canbus Error Free Led Turn Signal Lights Amber Yellow 3014 Chipset 144SMD (Pack of 2)

Did not have any source for them in the notes. Not sure where they came from, but that info was posted here on the old forum before the latest move. It is probably in the files from a while back if you can find the right post.

today I installed some LED rear turn signal bulbs. Nice and bright, but now I have hyper flash. Tried Lamonster's method and Tricled's and neither worked. I may have to result to adding a resistor. If I do go that route where do I need to install it?

Thx
This worked on my 14 RT:
REPROGRAM THE LIGHT CIRCUIT…

Hazard lights in off position
Turn key on
Press and hold hazard flasher to start blinking
Hold it for 30 seconds while hazards are flashing
Turn off hazard lights off
Turn on right turn signal
When blinks once turn the key off
Do the same for the left turn signal

Hope this works for you.
