Looking for 10MM Bolt in the Cockpit area for RAM Mount or other suggestion

Just pulled the trigger on a RT-S and will be flying into ChiTown in the next week or so to pick it up to ride back Mass. Looking for a quick way to mount a RAM Mount in the cockpit area for my GPS's. I have a RAM ball with a tab on it that has a drilled hole for mounting on a 10MM bolt. It's similar to below

Looking for a spot to attach this to temporarily until I get home for a better and more permanent solution.

I figure if I am going to ride the 1000 or so miles we might as well make it an adventure.

I just mounted an xgrip phone mount for a cross country trip, using the lower left screw that holds dash cover in place. it is not a 10mm screw, but i used that exact same mount with a washer. you will need a 5mm bolt about an inch and a half long.

get a 4 inch hose clamp. You can mount it very solidly to the bar by wrapping it around the bar and over the tab tighten down with a screw driver,3 min mount,works very well. I mounted mine this way about 1k miles ago and no problems.

I used a bunch of washers to raise the the bolts in the middle of the handle bars up enough to make the RAM mount work, still had plenty of bolt left to tighten it up.

I saw this previously and will give this a lot of consideration as the permanent fix. I was looking for something down and dirty to get back home.

You could probably mount that to one of the 4 bolts that hold the handlebars on.
