• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Loose mirror

My wife's 2012 RT Limited has a loose left mirror. Is there a screw inside that thing and how to you get to it if there is?

Question: By "loose"; do you mean that the housing isn't tight to the body of the bike, or that the mirror is loose within the housing?

The mirrors snap in place with two spring clip and a keyhole latch each. It not snapped down at both bottom and front, they will be loose. If they are snaped down, then the springs are probably bent a bit. If the mirrors are removed, the two spring wires on each clip can be straightened and squeezed back together. The keyhole latch can be damaged if you don't remove the mirrors gently and correctly, so if you are uncomfortable with it, it would be better to swing by the dealer and have them do it or show you how.

I've got a wobbly left mirror also. At speed it is hard to see clearly in it with all of the vibrations. Today I did the matchbook under the table leg fix and stuck a piece of foam type paper in between the mirror and the body. Very high tech isn't it!
