Wondering if anyone has had this problem. I noticed a low moan coming from spyder about a couple of days ago. Like most squeaks, rattles and moans I can't figure exactly where or why. At first thought it was coming from front area. But after putting my spyder in neutral and rolling it around driveway, I think the noise is coming from under seat and keeps time with rotation of tires. Seems to be 1/4 +/- rotation moan in for every rotation and a half. Not exactly sure. Can hear at very low speeds not at higher speeds. Engine noise to loud. Looked at brakes but can see nothing.:banghead: Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As I'm sure your well aware, the SpyderLovers community are a very helpful group of characters, most willing to do what they can to offer advice or assistance with almost any Spyder related problem out there. The old adage of 'Too much is better than not enough' is often an issue we run into, when it comes to information :dontknow: to help solve a problem that someone might have.
Teddy suggests that its a good idea for everyone to set up their profile SIGNITURE LINE with information that others may need to help answer a question that someone may pose, like the YEAR, MODEL, MILES, & list ANY MODS that have been done to their Spyder, that way, everytime you post, all this info will be automatically listed at the bottom of your post and you won't have to worry about typing it over & over again, & ppl that are trying to help answer your questions won't need to keep asking for this info

Sounds like the rear brake. My 2011 does it too and the dealer says that is normal with the type of brakes that are installed. It pretty much only does it when it is cold and does not seem to wear the brakes at all (I'm still on the original with about 30-40% left at nearly 31K miles).

My 2012 RT A&C moans when I push it out of the garage backwards with the engine off. :dontknow: Nothing when I push it forward.

That's most often brakes. When they get humid or wet, or get dirty with dust the noise gets worse.
