• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Low RPM'S at Idle/ Stalling

:banghead: Today, in this gorgeous weather, hubby and I went for a nice ryde to visit and for an iced coffee. No problems with my Smurfette until we left the coffee shop, and I noticed the rpm's dropped down to 1200 at a stop (normal for me is 13-1400). About 10 miles later, after taking a right hand turn, my baby stalled out! No codes or indicator lights on the panel. Although it restarted right away, it stalled again about 1 mile later! I let it sit for about 1.5 hours, went to start it up, and didn't have so much as a hiccup!
I got home, and was backing up in my driveway which is on an incline, and the rpm's dropped again to 1200, but no stalling. Of course, I checked oil and fuel levels, which were fine. No leaks or anything like that. When leaving earlier, I did notice a slight gas smell, but that cleared by the time I got home. Of course it's Sunday, and all this stuff happens after dealer is closed. I'll call them in am, but I was wondering if any of my more experienced brothers and sisters had any ideas about what's going on? My ryde is a 2010 RT-A, with a few mods including fog lights, BRP Cb radio, and a Two Brothers single pipe carbon fiber exhaust. All done by the dealer. Naturally, the weather is going to be in the 70's all :cus: week!!! HELP!!!:gaah:

Mine has done the same thing 4-5 times in 32000 miles, except never actually stalled. Idle goes down to 1150-1200 usually, last time went down to 850-900 RPM's., no missing, just low idle, at the next stop light it was back to normal.:dontknow:

Thank You!

Thank you for yor help! Will be calling the dealer in a bit!
Checked with service department at my dealer, his first question was "Have you gotten fuel recently?" May be as simple as water in the fuel ! I LOVE those guys, they're not so quick to start ripping bike apart!!!
