• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

metal erosion

Ive just started to notice the metal on my 2010 RT is starting to bubble and blister especially around the pegs at the back. Has anyone found a way of getting over this problem.?:gaah:

Sounds like corrosion under the powdercoat. Most likely have to have the panels stripped and recoated. That's always a problem here in the states, especially with aluminum castings.

In the UK we throw Salt on the roads during winter and even the best of cars do the same, and that got me thinking,,,,,, would it be possible to send the panels to a Wheel master and have him coat them or even match them to the same shade as the wheels? Has this been done before? and does anyone have any pictures of how it turned out...

Yeah..!!

many have had the supports powder coated to different colors. It is a good idea to have something done because once this starts under the coating it will continue. Salt as well as a lot of dampness can cause this especially if the coating has be scratched in some way...good luck..
