• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Modifying these Tire inflators and different air chucks to see what works best for me...

I've got a couple of 18v battery powered inflators by Ryobi. These are the latest models that allow you to preset the desired inflation pressure, turn it on, then when it reaches that pressure, it will turn itself off. It comes with a standard 1/4" air hose which is affixed to the inflator at one end and a standard flip-to-attach chuck at the other end.

It works pretty well as it comes out of the box, but since I've got two, and I can't leave well enough alone, I decided to modify one of them so I can easily change the air chuck depending on my needs, whims, and fancies (I want to experiment with different air chuck designs to see what might work best for me, particularly on the rear wheel).

So, I cut off the OEM chuck and replaced it with a barbed fitting / 1/4" npt adapter. To that, I can attach any chuck with the typical female npt fitting. Just for grins, I instead installed a compressed air quick connect fitting. Next, I'll try different chucks, including a Jaco Lightning chuck that's on order.
