Perhaps the rider should rethink going 85 mph on a back country road...
I hit a deer in WV in the mid '90s when it tried to jump over my car while we were doing 65 on a dual highway. It took off most of the left side of the car and the windshield. This guy is WAAAAY lucky!
The biggest thing I ever hit on a motorcycle was a fruit bat in the Philippines back in 1977. I was on my Yamaha RD400 and it got me right in the chest...had a bruise for a couple of weeks. The bat didn't make it.
