Like he didn't look in his rear view mirror to see if it was ok for him to even open the door let alone step out of the truck!! He's just as much of an idiot as the biker!!

Slowing it down frame to frame looks like cars in front of him are near stopped too. In the frame where the biker gets hit, the truck driver is in the position of heading out the door, not just swinging it open w his arm though. Who knows

I have to agree the truck was stopped. A look in the rear view might not have seen a speeding bike. I do not see this as lane spilting to start with, poor passing as above. I kind of thought lane spliting was between lanes gong the same way.
I am not a fan of most lane spliting anyway, on two wheels. Speeding between cars upsets a lots of people and makes them mad at all moptprcycles. . I know, lots love it.

:agree: truck driver should be charged with attempted murder (or something). I would not really call this "lane splitting" as it was more like stupid passing.
